Workshop Description: Participants will demonstrate an understanding of the ways in which Google Docs can support engaging and collaborative reading and writing activities and the implications of BCPS Rules and Policies in using online collaborative tools. This workshop will focus on creating, sharing, and integrating collaborative Google documents, presentations, spreadsheets, and forms into instruction.
Outcome: Participants will integrate technology in the teaching/ learning process.
Indicator: Participants will identify ways in which Google Docs can be used to support collaborative learning in reading and writing.
Prerequisite Skills: Fundamentals of PC, Telecommunications – Email, Telecommunications – World Wide Web, and Word Processing. Prior use of collaborative online tools (PBWorks or other wikis, Edmodo, etc.) highly recommended.
