Workshop Description: Participants will explore the ways in which online resources like Nettrekker, BrainPop, TumbleBooks, MS Word,and MS PowerPoint can support reading and writing in the elementary classroom.
Outcome: Participants will increase skills in the use and integration of technology in classroom instruction.
Indicator: Participants will identify ways in which technology tools for reading and writing can be used in their instructional practice. Participants will create a lesson activity and/or template to be used in classroom instruction.
Prerequisite Skills:
Fundamentals of PC, Telecommunications – Email, Telecommunications – World Wide Web, and Word Processing.
