Symbaloo- Organizing and Sharing Web Resources

 

 Workshop Description: Participants will explore how Symbaloo can help teachers curate, organize, and share web resources. Participants will create a Symbaloo account and a webmix to share. 

 

Outcome:  Participants will increase skills in the use and integration of technology in classroom instruction.

 

Indicator: Participants will explore Symbaloo and identify how they can be used to present information and content in different ways, differentiate the ways students can express what they know, and stimulate interest and motivation to learn.

 

Prerequisite Skills: Basic computing skills: file management and word processing.

 

Agenda:

  1. Create a Symbaloo account
  2. Delete any unwanted mixes or tiles   Create new webmixes
  3. Add tiles 
  4. Finding pre-made mixes
  5. Share a webmix 
  6. Exit Ticket
