Function:

Screencasting: A screencast is a digital recording of computer screen output, also known as a video screen capture, often containing audio narration (Wikipedia).  Screencast-o-matic lets your make brief screencasts on a Windows PC.

Windows 7 locally (download) An account is only needed if you wish save screencasts for sharing online. 

 

Comments:

Jing is very simple to use. Make sure you have your microphone configured and working before you start your screencast.  Jing is also great for capturing screenshots.
