Pixie 3- Meeting K-5 Common Core Standards

 

 

 

 Workshop Description: Participants will demonstrate an understanding of the ways in which Pixie 3 can be used to demonstrate mastery of Common Core Standards through a combination of text, original artwork, voice narration, and images.

 

Outcome:  Participants will increase skills in the use and integration of technology in classroom instruction.

 

Indicator: Participants will explore Pixie 3 and identify how they can be used to present information and content in different ways, differentiate the ways students can express what they know, and stimulate interest and motivation to learn.

 

Prerequisite Skills: Basic computing skills: file management and word processing.
